The Club handle was born from a reflection on comfort developed with Vico Magistretti, transformed into a design handle that combines metal and leather in a new balance. The Poltrona Frau leather covering wraps the grip, making it extremely pleasant to the touch, while the continuous, seam-free shape improves ergonomics and durability. A door handle that expresses elegance, ease of use and the artisanal quality of Made in Italy, reinterpreted with contemporary sensitivity.

Designing a handle with a leather grip to make it pleasant to the touch had been the subject of many conversations with Vico Magistretti while we were developing the Club handle.
He made me understand the importance of a material to live with over time and of appreciating its natural aging.
He gave the example of English shoes and many artifacts that improve over time. The more they’re used, the more beautiful they are, he used to tell me.
While he spoke, I thought of the sofa that welcomed me every evening, a Poltrona Frau model I had inherited from my mother. It was his, and he had passed it on to me. Not only did it show itself to be indestructible, but it even seemed to improve over the years.
Having to, therefore, reason about the quality of the leather, it was entirely natural to think of Poltrona Frau and their extraordinary experience with this precious material. — Antonio Olivari
